Congratulations Steve!

A huge congratulations to Head of Unified Communications, Steve Hannah, who was awarded the ” The Buttsy Directors Award 2018′

So what is the story behind the award?

As some may be aware, we very sadly lost one of our Directors, Phil Butts, late 2017.

The Directors here at One Connectivity wanted to create this in honour of Phil, so, for the first time ever the four voted for who they felt thoroughly deserved this.

Steve has brought with him many years of experience, his overall performance since joining OC has been outstanding, and his dedication and commitment to the business is second to none.

Not only bringing with him an incredible amount of knowledge and expertise in business phone systems, Steve has been fully committed in sharing and training his team, bringing them up to date and ensuring our team are some of the best within the business telecoms industry.

Thank you and a huge well done Steve!

Team OC have voted – 2018 Team Employee of the Year Award goes to Josh!

A huge well done and congratulations to our brilliant Finance Administrator

Since joining One Connectivity as an apprentice back in February 2017, Josh Peacock, 20, has progressed significantly and is excelling in his role as Finance Administrator. In just 18 months, Josh has taken on a host of new responsibilities, including ensuring his colleagues and One Connectivity’s suppliers are paid on time, demonstrating his ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive manner.

Despite a greater workload and the responsibilities that come with it, Josh has taken to his role with enthusiasm and dedication. His main duties include producing forecasted commission statements and organising the commissions for sales personnel at the end of each month, payroll, and ensuring all of One Connectivity’s customers are billed correctly.

Amazingly, Josh is still under the apprenticeship scheme at One Connectivity. He is currently undertaking his Level 3 AAT qualification, and is already demonstrating his skills and enjoyment in having the challenge of prioritising different aspects of his work. He believes that being a part of a supportive team is one of the main reasons he has been able to grow and flourish.

“I love every bit of what I do and really enjoy working at One Connectivity”Josh says.“Coupling work with my college course once a week is helping me to progress through my apprenticeship really well. It also helps me to use different thoughts and ideas within the workplace as well as giving me a better understanding of the sector and department I am working in. I love working with the One Connectivity team and even look forward to Mondays! Everyone here has made me feel welcome and supported – it’s a great working environment to be in.

Managing Director Paul Stevenson has been impressed with Josh’s progression since he first stepped through the doors at One Connectivity:

From day one, Josh has shown a real drive and willingness to learn. For him to already be our Financial Administrator whilst still in his apprenticeship is testament to both his abilities and his commitment to his work. Seeing Josh develop professionally and personally is a truly rewarding experience for the One Connectivity team, and we’re looking forward to helping Josh continue to grow with us.
