With different phone systems on all 5 sites all provided by different suppliers, managing Lifterz’ telecoms estate was becoming increasingly difficult. With all 5 systems maintained and managed by separate companies, Lifterz had little control over their phones, and had difficulty monitoring call traffic.

Call Flow

Separate systems meant that calls could not be made locally between branches and that calls could not be transferred between branches. This created significant difficulty in managing staff workload across the branches and led to long wait times for callers. Mobile staff were also unable to contact their branches locally, instead relying on their own mobiles to make calls in to the branches.

The Solution

Lifterz were already mobile customers of One Connectivity so were keen to work with us to overcome the challenges presented by their existing phone systems. After a successful demonstration meeting, they decided to go ahead with the installation of a new UC solution that would link each site together.

 

Lifterz were very keen to be able to network calls between all of their sites. With our UC solution in place Lifterz were able to significantly improve their staff workflow and efficiency by being able to overflow call traffic between sites during busy periods and site closures.

Remote workers are now more easily contactable by the office thanks to the use of mobile apps. Implementing a SIP-based solution for Lifterz has enabled them to realise substantial cost-savings by migrating away from legacy PSTN systems. Since Lifterz are now billed centrally for all 5 sites, there has also been a huge improvement in internal work processes.
